One of the more surprising moves from this summer’s expansion draft was the Seattle Kraken selecting Carsen Twarynski from the Philadelphia Flyers. The team immediately defended the pick though, saying they felt the young forward could help the depth of the organization, and now he’s agreed to a contract.
While the official announcement of the Expansion Draft selections for the Seattle Kraken were set for 8 p.m., most of the players making the move to Seattle were already known through leaks and reports throughout the afternoon.
The Flyers lost 23-year-old forward Carsen Twarynski to the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft on Wednesday. Frank Seravalli first reported the transaction this morning.
