Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is not in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming games.
The veteran has been a mainstay in the United defense in recent months under coach Erik ten Hag.
Evans, who is out of contract in the summer, will not play in games against Romania and Scotland.
A report from the Belfast Telegraph suggested that Evans had a minor injury.
However, that has not been confirmed by the Northern Ireland FA on the squad announcement.
Manager Michael O'Neill may prefer to select younger players for the upcoming games.
